Self Portrait 1967

Wilson Binebrink was a portrait painter who lived in Baltimore, Maryland. The Maryland State government has 15 official portraits by Binebrink in the Maryland State House collection in Annapolis. In addition, the Maryland Court of Appeals has a bronze low relief entitled "Symbolism of Justice" for the court's main foyer.

Saint Martin de PorresBinebrink's portrait of St. Martin de Porres is very well known, with the Vatican holding one reproduction.

Wilson lived on Bolton Hill in Baltimore, a few blocks from the Maryland Institute College of Art where he was instructor of life studies until his retirement. Bolton Hill is a picturesque old town neighborhood. The town home residences of Johns Hopkins and John Egar Howard are within this neighbor hood. The roof top scene from his studio window is entitled "Autumn Storm on Bolton Hill".
